Title: Dynamics 365 CRM ArchitectLocation: Hartford, CTThe role. Own the design the delivery team executes. Set the target architecture for a P&C insurance carrier's D365 CRM — the Dataverse data model, the integration pattern (agency identity in through Fabric, production read live via virtual tables, assignment write-back to the core system), the security model, and ALM. Sign off the field-level design, hold the standards, and stay close enough to the business to make the calls that keep it coherent.What you will doDefine the target architecture: Dataverse data model, security model, integration pattern, and environment/ALM strategy across dev, test and prod.Own the integration design with the client's data team — sync keyed on alternate keys, virtual tables over production, Fabric pipelines in, and assignment write-back to the core system.Produce the field-level design, security access matrix, and solution/component structure the consultants build from; review and sign off their configuration.Set standards for Power Automate, model-driven apps, dashboards, and Outlook/Teams integration; make the build-vs-configure and PCF/plugin calls.Establish the ALM pipeline (pac CLI, managed solutions, source control) and the governance around it.Run design workshops, resolve open design items, and present the architecture to business and IT stakeholders.Must haveMinimum 10 years with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, including multiple end-to-end implementations owned at the architecture level.Deep Dataverse: data modeling, alternate keys, custom activities, business rules, model-driven apps, and the security model (roles, BUs, teams, column security).Integration architecture: virtual tables, dataflows or Fabric pipelines, upserts on alternate keys, and bidirectional sync with core systems.ALM at scale: Power Platform CLI, managed solutions, environment strategy, source control.The stakeholder half: leads design workshops and presents architecture decisions to business and IT leaders without a translator.Nice to haveP&C insurance distribution (agencies, producers, appointments).
